A company built around a different idea of infrastructure.
OceanLux CCU Technologies Pvt Ltd was incorporated in Jaipur on 21 September 2023, beginning an applied effort to integrate microalgae biology with engineered urban spaces.

The OceanLux story began with a question: what if the air around us could become a designed, measurable part of the built environment?

Built on real-world operations experience and an ambition to translate biology into engineered systems, OceanLux brings photobioreactors out of the lab and into conversations about airports, offices, cities and architecture. The journey includes prototypes, field learning, controlled biological processes and a growing portfolio of deployable forms.

Product engineering, photobioreactor development and the November 2024 filing of an artificial-photosynthesis-related patent application mark an early research and IP milestone. Application is not a granted patent.
OceanTree formats and relationships developed through site engagements and practical installation learning. Deployments, field photographs and market engagements have different evidence standards.
Beyond existing OceanTree systems, OceanLux is evaluating biological façades, engineered HVAC integration, environmental monitoring and data-centre applications. These extensions remain conceptual or under feasibility development.
